Death-Defying Act Friday At St. Armands Circle

You'll want to visit our St. Armands Circle gallery tomorrow night and catch a death-defying performance by Nik Wallenda, a member of the legendary Wallenda high-wire family, and his wife, Erendira. The couple will perform 75 feet above St. Armands circle Friday at 6 p.m. On a cable stretching 25 feet between a pair of flagpoles in Circle Park, the performance artists hope to complete a series of mid-air maneuvers that includes handstands and an exchange of positions. The act is one of several performances the Wallendas are doing as a pilot for a television series on the Discovery Channel. To read more go to: http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20100811/BREAKING/100819938/2066/NEWS?Title=Wallenda-to-perform-high-wire-act-at-St-Armands-Circle&tc=ar
