David's Inspiration

"Bruce Springsteen is another iconic singer, who is known for his New Jersey shore sound. I did this when he performed at the Ice Palace in Tampa, I think with the E Street Band for their reunion tour. When I think of New Jersey I think of that humongous area of forest that they have. I wanted to do something cool with mist coming out of his mouth. So I put him in front of the forest in the cold. The painting has the classic X composition. The guitar on his back makes the left side of the X, his head points right and is the right side of the X. I drew the sketch from my head, I don't have a photo of him looking like this. I listened to "Nebraska' while I painted it."
